What makes the world go round? Whatever the answer you might bring, it surely ain't. Because above all of them, this once obscure concept or the subject has come to dominate and bamboozle every other subject and theory the man has ever invented. So that one surely spins everything it touches. It’s marketing. No secret that it has been there ever since the first time a creature thought of ways to get the interest of the female of the species and vice versa, definitely. Yet the concept has been kept hidden, never given the visibility it richly deserved till the 21st century dawned, to overpower all else and dominate the world from end to end.
Marketing is the concept which made us look at things in a totally different perspective, to make us believe everything is what it seems; that all that glitters is gold, that beauty is deeper than the skin and that the mirage truly exists. We, the mankind love to live a lie, and no other concept but marketing has ever understood the value of the fact. While the rest bothers about the hard facts, marketing keeps caressing where it excites most, the imagination and the multitude of emotions which after all make us unique in the universe. It’s the art of how to tell a lie, beautifully at that.
